Ogun: Wide Jubilation In Ibido Community As Court Deposed Oba Kolawole Adeyemi As Negbuwa

There was a wild jubilation in the Ibido Community today, Thursday 5th September, 2024, following the deposition of the traditional ruler of the town, Kolawole Adeyemi, he was removed as the Negbuwa of Ibido by the High Court.

The vividly elated people of the town were seen dancing and rejoicing over the court judgement that removed their Oba from office.

Our correspondent learnt that the judgement which was delivered today at the Sagamu High Court, was in suit instituted by the Solomade ruling house of the town, with a claim that the deposed Oba was imposed on the ruling house.

The ruling house said that his nomination was not in accordance with the Ogun State Chiefs Laws.

Efforts made to contact the Oba was not successful as the palace was under lock and his phones unreachable.
