Ijaya Progressive Coalition Weekly Meeting at the Constituency Office of Rt.Hon. Dr. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga((Ijaya) MHR on Sept. 2nd 2024

The weekly meeting for Sagamu Local Government Ijaya Progressive Coalition was held at the constituency office of Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga (Ijaya) in Sagamu. Although Hon. Onanuga was not present at this meeting, it was well-attended by party leaders from Ward 1 to Ward 15, alongside sev eral of her loyalists. The meeting was organised to assess the political landscape across the wards and strategise for upcoming activities and challenges.

Attendees are Party leaders from Ward 1 to Ward 15 of Sagamu Local Government and Loyalists and supporters .

Each ward leader presented a detailed report on the political activities, challenges, and achievements within their respective wards.

An upcoming day of training for youths focused on agriculture scheduled for Thursday, 5th September was also announced ,This event could provide valuable learning opportunities and practical experience in various agricultural practices. Youths from various wards are the beneficiaries.

Although Rt Hon. Onanuga was not present, her loyalists took notes of all discussions and assured the attendees that their concerns and recommendations would be communicated to her directly. There was a general consensus on the need to strengthen intra-party collaboration and ensure that all wards are working towards the common goal of sustaining and increasing the party’s influence in the Sagamu Local Government area.

The meeting concluded with a strong sense of purpose and commitment from all ward leaders and attendees. Despite Hon. Onanuga’s absence, her presence was not strongly felt through the dedication of her loyalists and the proactive discussions that took place. The party leaders are focused on maintaining their momentum and building on the successes reported across the wards.
